Driverless driving would be seen as a transformational technology to our society, accompanied with extremely radical changes comprised of both positive and negative outcomes.
Positive

• Human error such as drunk driving, distracted driving, and also careless driving would be something of the past


• Cars can be sent out alone to do errands such as picking up children and get repairs on its own


• Environmentally friendly (most of the self-driving cars run solely on electricity)

Negative

• Traffic explodes as cars may be sent out to perform errands without driver


• Jobs such as Taxi drivers, Bus drivers, Deliver vans/trucks, may be impacted or even extinct


• Roads to be filled with Lifeless Robotic cars, would be hard to signal to other drivers which may cause problems.
